Eminent NP historian and author Bill Kuebler began challenging readers of the NPRHA Mainstreeter to identify the locations and other pertinent details of scenes across the NP system in the Summer 2009 issue. Almost 70 of these features have been published and enjoyed ever since. The content is presented here for your ongoing enjoyment. Each feature has been recently edited and the photos improved, where possible. |

The The NP Story was a capsule history of the NP in booklet form, made freely available to passengers on NP trains. Is was published in October 1950, before the North Coast Limited's schedule was shortened to 39 hours, the Vista Domes were put in service, and Raymond Loewy redesigned the train's equipment. |
